Hiking and photographing Upper Stevens Creek County Park

It's been a few months since I've gone hiking, but I finally managed to get out and go hiking this last weekend. I hiked in Upper Stevens Creek County Park south of the bay area. To date, it is the longest hike I've done at 11.2 miles with a lot of elevation change during the first half. It was supposed to be only a 9.5 mile hiking, but I kinda missed one of my trail splits and had to backtrack...oops :). That aside it was a great hike. The terrain was highly varied, going from dense, tall forests to shrubs to meadows to almost swamp-like. There were also a lot of deer out that day; I probably saw two dozen.

Anyways, I managed to get a few shots that show the wide variety of terrain on this hike.
